ATF NESS Application and Technical Support BPA

AIS has been awarded a prime contract by the Department of Justice (DOJ) Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Acquisition and Property Management Division to provide NIBIN Enforcement Support System (NESS) Application and Technical Support. NESS is a web-based application that supports ATF’s National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) program, which helps law enforcement agencies identify, investigate, and prosecute shooters and their sources of crime guns. AIS is leveraging our expertise in cloud transformation, application development, and data analytics to help ATF modernize and enhance NESS.

Applied Information Sciences’ Mentor-Protégé Joint Venture, Applied Cloud Technologies (ACT), has a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) for software development. ACT hwas awarded a BPA call order to provide software development services for ATF’s Enterprise Case Management System (ECMS), which is a cloud-based system that supports ATF’s core mission functions, such as investigations, inspections, intelligence, and forensic science.
