News:AIS Achieves Microsoft Identity and Access Management Advanced Specialization

Topics: Cloud Security

Reston, VA – February 24, 2022 – AIS, a leader in providing transformative cloud solutions to large enterprises, has earned the Microsoft Identity and Access Management Advanced Specialization, joining Cloud Security and Windows & SQL Server.

The Identity and Access Management Advanced Specialization provides a means for AIS to showcase proven, verifiable expertise in the Cloud Security Domain through our experience deploying Microsoft Identity workloads. This expertise is assessed by Microsoft through our completion of Security exams, customer active usage of Azure Active Directory, and validated customer testimonials.

Over the years, Microsoft partners distinguished themselves within the partner ecosystem through earning competencies. Today, AIS has 12 Gold competencies. As the number of partners has grown, Microsoft worked to provide additional ways for partners with deep expertise to demonstrate their ability to deliver within select capability areas, resulting in the Microsoft introduction of the Advanced Specialization partners program for professional services providers. This program allows customers to identify Microsoft partners with proven capabilities in various technology and solution areas and feel confident in their vendor selection.

Advanced Specializations provide further validation and segmentation of the best partners for lead generation, funding, and other partner opportunities. They are the next generation of Gold Competencies and validate the capability of partners to deliver best-in-class specialized services in complex solution areas through frameworks, repeatability, and past performance. This program creates a new breed of “Platinum” Partners that will become the go-to partners for each Advanced Specialization Area, impacting our engagement with field sales members as Microsoft will use specializations to identify optimized partners to work with for specific customer needs.
