It requires a partner first to have an active gold Cloud Platform competency, and additional requirements include, but are not limited to, verifiable customer references, public case studies, Microsoft technology performance indicators, and real-world architectural reviews. As with assessments and certifications for ISO, CMMI, and DoD, Microsoft’s new certification relies on third-party auditors rigorously reviewing certification criteria to prove the partner has demonstrated in-depth knowledge, experience, and proven success in migration to Azure.
