News:AIS Achieves Microsoft Windows & SQL Server Advanced Specialization

Topics: Azure

Reston, VA – December 17, 2020 – AIS, a leader in providing transformative cloud solutions to large enterprises, has earned the Windows Server and SQL Server Migration to Microsoft Azure advanced specialization. This recognition is a validation of our deep knowledge, extensive experience, and expertise in migrating Windows Server and SQL Server-based workloads to Azure.

Over the years, Microsoft partners distinguished themselves within the partner ecosystem through earning competencies. Today, AIS has 10 Gold competencies. As the number of partners has grown, Microsoft worked to provide additional ways for partners with deep expertise to demonstrate their ability to deliver within select capability areas, resulting in the Microsoft introduction of the Advanced Specialization partners program for professional services providers. This program allows customers to identify Microsoft partners with proven capabilities in various technology and solution areas and feel confident in their vendor selection.

This Advanced Specialization measures more in-depth capabilities in the Windows Server and SQL Server migration to Azure solution area. It requires a partner first to have an active gold Cloud Platform competency, and additional requirements include, but are not limited to, verifiable customer references, public case studies, Microsoft technology performance indicators, and real-world architectural reviews. As with assessments and certifications for ISO, CMMI, and DoD, Microsoft’s new certification relies on third-party auditors rigorously reviewing certification criteria to prove the partner has demonstrated in-depth knowledge, experience, and proven success in migration to Azure.

Gavriella Schuster, Corporate Vice President, One Commercial Partner (OCP) at Microsoft Corp. added, “The Windows Server and SQL Server Migration to Microsoft Azure advanced specialization highlights the partners who can be viewed as most capable when it comes to migrating Windows-based workloads over to Azure. AIS clearly demonstrated that they have both the skills and the experience to offer clients a path to successful migration so that they can start enjoying the benefits of being in the cloud.”

This specialization reflects the AIS commitment and investments in delivery excellence to serve as your trusted partner. Further, it differentiates our expert and experienced commitment to the success of our clients. Current and prospective clients can rest assured that AIS not only meets rigorous standards for Windows Server and SQL Server Migration to Azure, but we’ll continually evolve our business with the advancing cloud practices and technology services required to drive forward your mission.
