As the account manager, my focus is to care for the client, understanding their current and evolving technology needs.
I came to work at AIS in November 2019 as an engagement manager for multiple DoD and commercial accounts. I am especially proud of my work with the delivery team in caring for both the client and our AIS employees. I have focused primarily on the user experience, requirements elicitation, and establishing best practices in program management while at AIS. I earned the opportunity to lead the Navy account after growing an initial engagement into a large, multi-component offering. At AIS I have helped guide teams through delivery for custom application development, AWS and Azure cloud services, ATO, User Acceptance Testing and more. I am also the Ohio office lead, where I passionately care for our team through engaging networking events, brand building activities and opportunities to give back to our community through volunteer efforts.
My degree is in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a minor in Operations Management from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. I have over 20 years of experience as a professional services consultant in the Department of Defense. I have certifications in requirements gathering, risk assessment and mitigation, usability and agile scrum. Additional training includes work type workshops, diversity, public speaking, technical writing and leadership skills.
I grew up in the country on a lovely forty-acre farm in Southern Ohio where I spent a lot of time playing in the creek, sledding our hills and helping in the family garden. At 18 I headed to Dayton, Ohio for college where I completed my engineering degree from Wright State and met my now-husband, Jason. Jason and I are celebrating 20 years of marriage this year. We have two children, Mason and Carter. As hobbies, I like to volunteer at my children's activities to see them more often, plan family vacations and parties, and take hikes in our plethora of metro parks in the area. I am passionate about diversity and inclusion, advocating for those in need of social justice, and ensuring everyone I encounter feels valued, heard, and has a good time.
